Excaliburs - How did it start?
How did the name 'Excalibur' come to be associated with us viz. GCT EEE 04-08 batch? Well heres how - It all started with the search for a name for our class magazine that we published in third year. We wanted a name that would be synonymous to the term 'legend' ! After much research:) !! we at the editorial board narrowed down to 2 names ORION & EXCALIBUR. But the latter term was more synonymous to the EEE tag WARRIORS. Excalibur is the name of a SWORD used by King Arthur. The weapon has a strong legacy to it and by itself means 'something legendary' and voila the name Excaliburs was chosen to represent the most legendary batch in the history of GCT.
